The Dickson Wetlands and Sullivan’s Creek/Parklands Clean Up event, organised by Dickson Residents Group, aims to clean up the area from the Wetlands in Hawdon St/Dickson Oval to the Dickson Shops. Our event runs 8:30-11:00am on Sunday 1 March and will conclude with a sausage sizzle. Volunteers can register online before the event or onsite on the day. Gloves and collection bags will be available but feel free to bring your own. Please wear suitable protective clothing and footwear and bring a drink bottle. Water for refilling bottles will be available along with tea/coffee and biscuits. We would greatly appreciate as much or little of your time to collect rubbish as you can spare.
