On 24 April, Dickson Residents Group unveiled a 4th Canberra Tracks heritage sign for our suburb in the newly named Taglietti Square, made possible with support of a 2023-4 ACT heritage grant. Sixty attended. Professor Peter Stanley graciously emceed. Both the Minister for Environment and Heritage, Rebecca Vassarotti MLA, and the author of the sign, Jane Goffman, spoke. Woolworths’ store manager kindly contributed ice creams popular in the 1960s for the event, almost all of which were cheerfully consumed.
