We also contributed as a collective to the ACT Government ‘Your Say’ draft Active Travel Plan 2022, and eagerly await the outcomes. The core themes of our response were:
- Private and public construction activities – increased inclusiveness
- The role of public toilet access in inclusiveness
- Cycle paths – consider the value of safe exits and connections for travellers
- For the Inner North – and beyond the well-used Sullivans Creek cycle route –
note the real opportunities for increased active travel and associated vibrancy
and connection across neighbourhoods ranging from Braddon to Downer and
Hackett etc., (Campbell, Russell and so on).
